The Subtle Practices of Yoga

Yoga has several different types of practices that take us in the direction of the state of Yoga. There are many misunderstandings about Yoga today. It’s not something that is meant to cause injury. It’s not religion. In fact, Yoga can be a supportive foundation for most religions. Also, it’s not meant to be only a physical practice.

There are many paths in Yoga and Hatha yoga is one of them.

Hatha Yoga includes the practice of asanas (physical postures), but also the practices of Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation), pranayama (breathwork), and meditation. The emphasis is on using the body as a means to self-realization.

In this virtual classroom, you will find only the subtle practices. The ones that go beyond the physical body and work with the other aspects of our being: energetic, mental, emotional, and spiritual layers.
