Enrich Your Sadhana (and Life!) with Ayurveda!

Yoga and Ayurveda are related healing disciplines of India. They are the two sides of the same coin. While practicing Ayurveda keeps the body and mind balanced and healthy, practicing Yoga prepares the body and mind for the eventual liberation and enlightenment of the soul.

I have used both sciences to heal and manage imbalances in my body and mind. From direct experience, I know now that many health conditions cannot be resolved without an actual change in diet and lifestyle according to natural and holistic principles like those of Ayurveda.

Our health cannot be separated from what we eat, what we do, and what we think.

A great way to introduce Ayurveda into your life and the life of your students is on the yoga mat. This makes the transition to a deeper integration of Ayurveda in your home and daily life easy.

In this workshop, I will share with you concepts of Ayurveda and ways to enrich your sadhana and your life.

We will discuss:

1. The five elements theory

2. The twenty gunas theory

3. The importance of agni

4. Ways to deepen our practices and take Ayurveda to the mat
